Founded in Chicago in 1963 as Richard Gray Gallery and expanding to New York City in 1997, the gallery works with leading artists and institutions to present innovative exhibitions, acclaimed public projects, and award-winning catalogs. 

Today, under the leadership of gallery partners Paul Gray and Valerie Carberry, GRAY continues to specialize in influential historical artists while representing some of today’s most significant artists and estates. GRAY is recognized for the exceptional quality of its artist-focused program and for the expert counsel it provides to private and museum clients worldwide.
