For the 2026 edition of the ADAA Fair, GRAY presents a booth (A8) of Post-War and Contemporary painting, sculpture, and works on paper by artists from across the gallery’s program, such as Candida Alvarez, William Baziotes, McArthur Binion, Torkwase Dyson, Theaster Gates, Richard Hunt, Alex Katz, Judy Ledgerwood, Roy Lichtenstein, Brice Marden, Robert Motherwell, and Leon Polk Smith. GRAY’s presentation highlights a dynamic lineage of artists whose contributions led major movements of the 20th and 21st centuries, especially Pop, Minimalism, and Abstraction.
Featured works include Roy Lichtenstein's iconic 1963 work on paper of a wristwatch titled Shockproof, Richard Hunt’s 1971 Hybrid Forms sculpture in cast aluminum, a 2020 work by Theaster Gates related to his Ground Rules series, and a 2023 gestural landscape by Alex Katz.
